Mysterious Madam Valentine

I made this image back in 2011, for the word "Mysterious" on Illustration Friday. All details can be found here. [link] Madam Valentine is my own invented character, who's favorite colors are all the shades of, you guessed it, Valentines Day. This image matches up with another picture I did, and I speak more about it on my blog, so if you're interested be sure to click the link. Madam Valentine is an opera singer, who's birthday lands on February 14, and this image depicts her at a masquerade ball, hiding her face from public fans. I'm still working on the idea of a story, but the image is just a glimpse at this mysterious beauty. ^_~
